About Alvin
Alvin lives in the Sheridan Homelands with his wife Rebecca and their three children. He has extensive experience in government and the community. Prior to being elected City Councillor for Ward 2 in 2022, Alvin worked to expand Sheridan College in Mississauga, served on the board of the Sheridan Homelands Ratepayers Association (SHORA), chaired the Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT) policy committee, and led the recent Pride Flags Across Peel Campaign. He has spent his career as a champion for families, the environment, and better government services.
He is a graduate of Harvard University and Queen’s University, where he met his wife Rebecca. They can be seen nearly every night at hockey or baseball games throughout the neighbourhood proudly cheering on their kids.
