Clarkson GO Station Transit Oriented Community

The Governemnt of Ontario and Infrastructure Ontario have announced their plans surrounding the Clarkson GO Station under their Transit-Oriented Communities Program. The first phase of is project, Infrastructure Ontario plans to redevelop the North Parking lot into a high-rise community, including seven condominium towers with 2,434 units. These towers would range between 25 and 45 storeys in height.

This sudden proposal from the Provincial Government and Infrastructure Ontario ignores over 5 years of work with our recently completed Official Plan and Clarkson GO MTSA that the City of Mississauga has been doing in collaboration with community members to reimagine the Clarkson GO station.

I encourage any neighbours with feedback about this to reach out to our MPP, Rudy Cuzzetto. He and the Province of Ontario have final say on this proposal.
