Leading from the Opposition | InCamera ft. Tim Hudak

This week’s guest is Tim Hudak, the former leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party from 2009 to 2014 and now Partner at Council Public Affairs. Tim and I were on the opposite side of many battles while at Queen’s Park, and good ideas rarely come with a political colour attached.

In our conversation today, we explored Tim’s career starting with his family interest, to how he became one of the youngest members of the legislature, to his time as Leader of the Opposition. Throughout his time as PC Leader, he never got to enact his vision for Ontario, but now we are seeing many of the things that Tim advocated for, like a greater investment in the Skill Trades, be actioned by Conservative and Liberal governments alike.
